Sandy Kory

General Partner

Sandy founded Horizon in 2022 and has over 15 years of venture capital experience. He was an early investor in Palantir, Canva, BillionToOne, Flutterwave, Sendbird, and several other unicorns.

Outside the office, Sandy always makes time for his two adorable children and a tough workout. He’s also an avid podcast listener and nonfiction enthusiast.

Mike Firmage

General Partner

In addition to leading legal and finance at Horizon, Mike founded and runs Horizon Partners, a boutique M&A firm that advises product-first technology founders on transformative transactions.

As a proud parent of four kids and two dogs, Mike is always on the go— whether it’s at a school event or in the mountains. Through it all, he prioritizes reading, fitness, and personal growth.
